We know that when you’re planning a family getaway, you want the entire family happy and having the best time possible. From an 18-hole game, to relaxing with a canvas painting, to Bingo, to concerts, or just have all sorts of awesome outdoor fun, there’s something to do for everyone at Sunny Hill in the Catskills.
Love the outdoors? We have a pool and splash pad, as well as a lake for boating and fishing. There’s also tons of gorgeous views available throughout the resort that the whole family can enjoy – there’s no better way to appreciate the splendor of New York. Spend the morning and afternoon golfing or wander the resort and enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains. From fishing in the spring to leaf peeping in the fall, there’s plenty to do whenever you join us!
Is your family more active? For those with too much energy for relaxing by the pool or enjoying the view, sports equipment is located in the snack bar with the exception of lawn bowling which is located in the office. We also are home to the Viking Obstacle Course, a 5.5 mile World Championship qualified course with more than 35 obstacles, including rope climbs, wall climbs, log balancing, and so many more. Access is included in your stay – challenge each other to see how far you can get!

Want someone else to do the planning? While we leave plenty of time in our daily activities schedule for you and your family to get out and make your own fun, Sunny Hill also has a full weekly schedule of events. From various tournaments to regular “Just for Fun” rides, every day has fun family activities planned and ready for you to join. Compete at shuffleboard or sign up for fencing lessons. Join a water aerobics or yoga class. End the day with music, whether a concert, DJ, or karaoke. You can ask for the most up-to-date activity schedule when you arrive, and we’ll be happy to walk you through the options. While you’re here, you’re family, just take it from our valued guests!

Meal Times
As an all-inclusive resort, we offer family-style meals included as part of your stay. Meals are served in the glass-enclosed GarWayne Dining Hall with a view of the mountains. We also offer morning coffee behind the dining room at 6:00am.
