Sunny Hill Golf Course

For more than a hundred years, the Catskills have been a popular destination for golfers who wish to escape the hectic pace of life in metropolitan New York and experience a bit of the serene life.

At Sunny Hill, our name gives you a sense of what makes our course so unique. Set in the highest foothills overlooking the Northern Catskills, Sunny Hill Golf Course is characterized by breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. With elevations ranging from 700 to 1000 feet this Par 66 course offers a unique and challenging golf experience for both the beginning and seasoned golfer.

The front nine has been developed as an Executive style course, mixing in par 3s and par 4s. It offers many opportunities to sharpen your iron play while protecting par with crowned and undulating greens. The front nine remains a favorite for golfers of all ages who prefer to walk during their round.

The back nine affords you the opportunity to use your woods while still requiring you to be accurate with your irons. Mountain views are particularly spectacular on the back nine. Greens remain crowned and undulating, enabling proficient putters to score well.

The Sunny Hill season runs from April 1 to November 1, weather permitting.

Sunny Hill Clubhouse
The Sunny Hill Clubhouse is one of the finest in the area. It is well maintained, spacious, and modern. In addition to enjoying a beer or glass of wine at the bar, you will be able to enjoy a nice relaxing time watching TV, reading, playing a video game, or just sitting by the fireplace and watching from one of the busiest places at Sunny Hill. A large lakeside deck is always a favorite spot and is located just outside the main building.

Practice Green
The practice green and chipping area are also conveniently located just outside the Clubhouse.

“Top of the Hill” Driving Range
You may also purchase golf balls for our 325-yard, elevated driving range. While you work out your troubles with your swing, you will enjoy one of the best views in all of the Catskill Mountains.

USGA Rated
Our course has been USGA rated and remains a leader as a charter member in the Greene County Golf Association.

Professional Crew
The course is overseen and maintained by a professional and expert grounds crew.
