Dining at Sunny Hill

Guests at Sunny Hill gather for three meals a day in our premier dining room, Garwayne Dining Hall. The daily offerings range from breakfasts with pancakes, fresh fruit, bacon and eggs to lunches of specialty sandwiches, Italian favorites and the classics: pizza, burgers and dogs. Dinner time brings a menu that includes a rotating variety of steak, meatloaf, roasted turkey, outdoor barbecues and prime rib.

Desserts such as éclairs, apple pie a la mode, brownie sundaes and homemade cheesecake are always ready to tempt our visitors.

The Nicholsens realized a long-held dream in 1961 when they built Garwayne Dining Hall, a 300-seat dining hall with a kitchen that was second-to-none. Named after their sons Gary and Wayne, who now operate Sunny Hill with their sister Gail, Garwayne Dining Hall has one of the most spectacular views in all the Catskills.

Our culinary-trained Head Chef, Bill, who used to vacation at the resort when he was younger, runs a beautifully equipped, modern kitchen where he and his staff delight our guests at least three times a day.
